According to the report, the company is planning to launch a very affordable electric mini SUV in India. Which will be launched under Hyundai’s ‘Smart EV’ project.

The first model to roll out under the scheme is expected to come out next year. The price of which will be fixed within 10 lakhs. Talking about the range of Hyundai electric cars, they will be able to run around 200 km on a single charge.

The hatchback will fit the segment’s price: the new electric mini SUV will come as an affordable alternative to the petrol-diesel hatchback and crossover that can be easily used in cities. According to a latest media report, the new Hyundai electric small SUV will be designed on the Modified ICE platform which is designed keeping in mind the lower cost and better driving range.

Nexo fuel cell electric SUV confirmed: While the new upcoming electric SUV is imported as the CKD, unlike the Hyundai Kona, the South Korean carmaker has already confirmed the Nexo fuel cell electric SUV for the Indian market. Hyundai Nexo comes with a 95kW fuel cell stack and 40kW lithium-ion battery that will generate 160hp of power and 395Nm of torque.

This SUV V is capable of holding 0 to 100kmph in 9.2 seconds. At the same time, its maximum speed will be 179kmph. For information, let us know that its hydrogen tank can be filled in 5 minutes. At the same time, it promises a limit of 600 km once the tank is full.
